Topic: Allow God To Be God

Text: Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

Consider this: if you are really wealthy and have been an amazing father, would you be glad to see your children worried about anything? Is it possible that God, our Creator, is insufficient and untrustworthy in fulfilling His obligations to us? He looks after us, protects us, directs us, provides for our necessities, helps us, and even fights for us. But why do we waste our days worrying and whining, toiling day and night in search of a means to make ends meet? Allow God to be God over you and if there's any reason at all for worries, let God do the worrying.  Listen! God doesn't like it when we carry our own burdens despite the fact that we can do anything without him. We make Him feel like a lesser God when we worry over anything. He is capable and trustworthy in carrying out His commitments to us. So whenever Satan gives you any reason to worry about, remember what God wants you to do. Be still; then you will know He is God.

Memory Verse: “And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things and your Father knows that you need them.” Luke 12:29-31

Prayer: Thank you father for being ever faithful to your commitments

MAY THE LORD TAKE GLORY OVER YOUR CHALLENGES IN THE NAME OF JESUS
