Topic: Revelation From Jesus Christ
Text: Galatians 1: 12 “I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.”
While writing to the church in Galatia, the apostle Paul made it clear to us in our text that he was not taught the gospel but rather received it from our Lord Jesus Christ. If what he stated is misunderstood, it might spark a dispute over the credibility of theology schools, discipleship trainings, and even bible study hours. The apostle Paul, on the other hand, speaking of obtaining insight from our Lord Jesus is equally saying the same as he being discipled by Jesus. There would be no debate if it were possible to restate that Apostle Paul attended a spiritual school under the tutelage of our Lord Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, let’s not be confused for this point to one thing: ‘be properly equipped as you set out to serve the Lord Jesus.’ Passing through theological schools, discipleship centers or other ministerial training grounds is indeed paramount. It is a revelation from our Jesus Christ.
Memory Verse: “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.” Proverbs 29:18
Prayer: Lord, give me understanding of your revelations in the name of Jesus
MAY THE LORD REVEAL HIS WAYS TO YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS
